on Thursday evening, Sienna Miller certainly hit another high note with
her sartorial tone when she arrived at the London premiere of
Foxcatcher.
The
32-year-old actress – who stars alongside Channing Tatum and Steve
Carell – pulled out all the stops in a gorgeous shimmery silver striped
gown by British brand Galvan.

her luscious golden locks delicately pinned in two braids, Sienna
accentuated her pretty facial features with a few swipes of black
eyeliner and a touch of pink lip stick.
But it
was her stunning dress that claimed the limelight as she sashayed
across the red carpet in a pair of metallic peep toe heels.
Sienna
was joined at the BFI London Film Festival event by her American
co-star Steve, who looked sharp in a slick sapphire blue two-piece
tailored suit.

Directed
by Oscar nominee Bennett Miller, the movie - which critics are already
tipping for Oscars - is based on the real-life story of chemical fortune
heir John du Pont (Carell) who went to prison for killing Olympic
wrestler Mark Schultz (Tatum).
Tatum
is already getting the best reviews of his career in the wrestling
drama, which also stars Mark Ruffalo and Vanessa Redgrave.
Sienna
- who plays wrestler's wife Nancy Schultz in Bennett Miller's true-life
tale - said her role came at the right time since becoming a mother to
two-year-old daughter Marlowe.
‘I'm
really looking forward to it all. I really wanted to work hard. I
didn't work for a year after my daughter was born, and I really wanted
to knuckle down this year and get a lot under my belt,’ she said.
‘She
started nursery about a month ago,’ the actress added. ‘I wanted to get
to a point where I could be a bit more selective. So hopefully now that
I've put in all this work this year, I'll be able to have a bit of an
easier time the year after.’

Speaking about his role, Carell admitted he had to wrestle with his dark side to get into character.
'I
don't think it was easy for any of us. It was a very complex world to
look into. It wasn't easy, it wasn't simple and it took a long time to
research it and think about it,’ he revealed.
The Despicable Me star - whose performance has been winning praise - said he was in awe of British actress Redgrave.
‘It
was intimidating. She's such a wonderful actress but she made me feel
comfortable. So it was intimidating going in but just such a pleasure to
work with,’ he added.
The
actor continued to gush about the film's cast and crew as he added:
'Bennett Miller is such a unique filmmaker and he makes good movies. I
wanted to be a part of his world for a little while.
'Channing
is transformative, people are going to be incredibly impressed by him
he's an excellent actor. Mark Ruffalo's body of work speaks for itself
and he's no less excellent in this than he has ever been.
'Vanessa
Redgrave is a legend and I was extremely intimidated by her but she
could not have been kinder or more generous, she was really wonderful.'
Foxcatcher is due to be released in UK cinemas on January 9 2015
